It’s so exciting!!  The house my company just bought in Mountlake Terrace is our first redevelopment.  We’ve all heard bad contractor stories.  I don’t know why I was surprised when my first couple of contractors either didn’t want to pull permits or didn’t have their state license, bonding or insurance.  That’s not me.

Additionally, I’m having us get our business licenses in Sammamish, where the company is located, and in Mountlake Terrace where we are remodeling the house.  You can bet we’ll do the same in the other cities we redevelop houses in too.

What I enjoy about the L&I verifications is that I can see if there have been any citations, violations, lawsuits, and more.  A lot of these guys talk a good talk.  It’s worth having a look.
